I'm actually kind of happy to be back in school because i was bored in the house and i missed my friends. break could  have been longer but it was fine the way it was.it was good to ask what everybody got and did.Also ask what people got for the holiday. In the end it was good break now game time to finish out the year. for senior it a half way[point to graduating and it means it almost over. Before you know it will be over.

I used this last day off to make sure everything was organized and together for school the next day. Also i checked my agenda book for any assignments that i  may have forgotten to complete over the break. Also i used this as refresher to make sure i was ready for school the next day. I know my sleep schedule was all messed up because i stayed 3 o'clock in the morning the whole break. I didn't care though because i knew i would be organized for the next day.

The day after New years i was bringing my trip to an end i had a ton fun. I am always smiling because i love upstate family. Usually we don't even spend new years with them we rush home so we can be in Maryland. We started the day off at church because my aunt wanted to go to church and pray for cousin because she hasn't been sleeping well lately.  After that we went out to eat and just hung out. Then we had to hit the road and said goodbye. I drove all the way up and all the way back. It was my first long distance road trip. My moms friends that rode with us up said I'm a good driver. My mom said i just speed to much. I can't lie i was doing like 80 up and 75 back. If the car had some horse power I'm going to use it. I like to drive. When cars go slow i go around. I drive fast but safe, i don't cut cars or trucks off. On the way back we hit so much traffic it was ridiculous, non-stop traffic jams.

I'm still visiting family in new jersey when we occasionally take the train over to new york. I'm mean i already knew it was going to be crowed because on TV it always is. Even while i drove up the day before the exits for new york where all in wall to wall traffic. Te night after the Kwanzaa celebration which we didn't go to bed until three. We woke up the next morning and everybody was all tired because usually we get up go to the train, go over shop and come back. This time we didn't go until about 4:50 and didn't get to times square until 6. It a pretty easy ride over, just hop on a train and get off NY pen station the last stop on the line my aunt didn't even tell us we were but we figured it out when we looked at the clock. This train already had a bunch of parties on there, people already had all types of liquor on the train. Even when we made it into Penn station, the police was on point they had undercover officer, military, k-9 everything. This one entrance in the train station had 6 police all geared up and a dog.We come out on 34 street and two military guys come out with machine guns strapped and ready.We walked all the way up two times square and the blocks around it. because the police had everything barricaded off. They had that whole area on lock. You had to be in times square early that morning to be near the stage and actual ball drop area. So we decided to walk to get something to eat because it was 6 o'clock and we had 6 hours before the ball dropped. It was so packed and crowded. It was actually madness because the side walks were packed and you couldn't move because people were taking pictures. So we ate and came back out we still had another three hours so just stayed in one spot and saw it drop on a jumbo tron. I had some cool 2012 sunglasses. I also had huge party popper cannon that made such a loud bang, it was amazing.

For the past couple years me and my mom travel upstate to new jersey to spend time wit family, visit friends and just see what new. We always stop past Mount holly NJ and Burlington to say hello to friends either going or coming from New Jersey. We go all the way up to Newark NJ where my mom college roommate and good friend has a big Kwanzaa celebration every year. I call her my aunt because she has always been there for me like family. Every she thinks of something that has to do with Kwanzaa where you write a piece about life or success or family. This year you had to pick a principle of Kwanzaa and say what it means to you and why it means the most to you. I chose Kujichagulia(self determination). I chose that because it describe the most to me because i was getting average grades and i was self determined to do better.

OK now the NBA season is officially back, starting on Christmas day my team did not start so well. The day the season started my team got destroyed by the Miami Heat. It was like the Mavericks didn't even show up to play. The Mavericks had rough start losing 4 games to start the season off is not bad but it not good either. At least they ain't lose four in a row. A couple of the games, they shouldn't have lost but it ok they are making a comeback now to win two games. The mavericks even set a record by being to championship and coming back the next season to lose the first two starting games. They have lost have there championship squad, most of the team that helped get that championship is gone Tyson chandler, j.j. Barea, Deshawn Stevenson, Caron butler. It ok mavericks will be back to there old selves by playoffs. 66 games in a regular season it will be just fine they will be ready by June. there will be a game on every night.

Today i went to the dentist and i had a checkup and it was good. Only thing is i have to start flossing more and we were really there because of my mom because she had her tooth fixed and it was still in pain and it was hurting her whole side of her mouth. so she had to let him look at it and he couldn't find the problem for a second time. So now recommended she go see specialist to find the problem. The only thing about my dentist he will talk you death. He has one of those dry tones that just puts you to sleep. We were there for a long time just because he was stopping and kept on talking about everything. He said if i don't floss more at early risk for gum disease at 17. He said if i was 70 something he would be worried but since I'm 17 he said just floss more and the problem should go away.
