I finished my york application, i just have to send my transrcipt to them. This is one of my top five choices for AVID. When we went here on the spring break college tour and i just liked the vibe of the campus and the size. Also i wasn't in a big city it was in a nice rural/ urban area with a nice community  around it. Also it wasn't that hard to get around the campus, they have nice shuttle bus to take you around the whole entire campus. Also they had delicious food, which something that the college i want to go to has to have because I wont be eating fast all the time because one i wont have money like that and fast food get old after a while. I will be on meal plan when i go to college because I love food and can't be  go hungry  but if i have to some nights i will. I applied here and i got the preferred student application, fee was waived, maybe some money. So if they offer up some money then i see but i am still considering in state because it it a lot cheaper. They also have the major i want to study in, so it makes it an even better top choice. Also there tuition is not that bad either. I remember this campus  so well because it was our first stop on the college tour and it such a nice campus.

Thank goodness we had some delicious turkey left because Friday we didn't have anything in the house. I wanted to participate in black Friday just to what it is like and also just to see some madness. I just stayed in the house and did some school work and finished up my college stuff. Also when i got home i realized we didn't take any of the other food, just turkey, so i just made salad  and sweet potato from that potluck from the other day. This turkey is so good  I had some of my uncles that he baked and some of ours that we fried the taste is totally different. I think it crazy how some of the stores opened thanksgiving night, i think the workers need a break to. I think it good they open wee hours of the morning  not the same night as thanksgiving, i mean people want to be home with there families to. Half the stores only going to have 5 or 10 tv's that are really low and the first 10 in going to have them.

Thomas Brown AVID 365 day 85 11-24-11/Thanksgiving!!

This was filled with food but i forgot to take picture while it was all out. So i took the picture after it was mostly cleaned up. I had  a thankful and blessing thanksgiving.  My grandma did most of the cooking and mom always does the turkeys because we fry our turkeys. My mom had to season four turkeys this year because everybody decided they wanted one this year.  I didn't know what time dinner was but i couldn't wait because i barely ate anything all day except some pancakes from McDonalds that morning. I was trying save my stomach for dinner that night. When my grandma called and told me what time dinner was i was happy, so made sure my mom knew what that was, so we wouldn't be late! The aroma of turkey and other things filled the house and i didn't do anything all day except play 360 and text people. My day started with me watching the parade because i always like to watch. Then from there it was 360 until my mom told me to get dressed, I got washed up and put all the food and pies in the car. My mom said i could drive when we got to the stop light of old court and i had to turn back around zoom back home, she said it was the pancakes from McDonalds. From there we switched cars with my uncle and we had to zoom because we had other peoples turkeys that where waiting to start dinner. We got everybody turkey to them for dinner but our dinner time had to be pushed back because we had to wait for my mom. 7:30 was when i was starting my first plate and it was delicious! I had tons of food mac and cheese, turkey, rolls, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, greens, and iced -t, and stuffing, perfect meal. Just in time for the football game, i had 3 F's that family, football, food! My day was perfect i couldn't ask for a better thanksgiving.

For my food rag i chose Twizzlers because i knew i could write a good story on them. Also it was the day we finished up everybody else story which was really nice. Everybody had a great story because wasn't nobody to sad that it just made you want to cry. I really don't like seeing people cry.  usually we barely have any time to eat the food because it close to the bell but this year we had plenty of time to finish everybody story and have time to eat before the bell. It actually kind of sad because it the last one because I'm senior now, and probably wont experience anything like a food rag before thanksgiving again which is like pre-thanksgiving to me. This we had a lot of sugar from cakes, pies, brownies, to cookies, but we also a lot of entree coarse like spaghetti, meatballs, deviled eggs, chicken, rice. Once again for another pre thanksgiving feast i had no vegetable, but it's ok. I ate good for two days before thanksgiving and was going to eat good again on thanksgiving. They tore the Twizzlers up and all the other foods up we barely had any left overs.

We had potluck for Male mentoring and National honors society and boy was it good. We had everything from chicken to pie and cake. We had three things of chicken sweet potatoes, yams, macaroni and cheese, corn bread, rice, potatoes, stuffing, seafood pasta, sushi, fried fish. That only the entree for dessert apple and pumpkin pie, also  a nice decorative cake. We had all types of soda. This was per-thanksgiving feast, all we would have needed is some type of vegetable. I like to balance my meals with some type of vegetable.  We were in there grubbing, everything was delicious! There were about 25 of us in one room and there was still food left and you know what happened to it, it got thrown away. That so terrible but i tried to take as much as i could home especially these sweet potatoes because whoever made them did an excellent job on them because that what i had most on plate beside the chicken.

Today we started our AVID food rags since our AVID class is so big. The stories where great so far and we made great progress so only a couple of people had to go the day the actual food was brought in. Some of the foods where already sounding delicious and the actual day that food is brought in wasn't even here yet. Also in this class we watched about college and what happened after you get in how life becomes a lot harder after you get in. Also we watched another clip about how competitive and how tuition plays a big factor. We  were supposed to blog about what we fear going to college and what excites you about going to college.When i go to college I fear i might starve a couple of nights, and also not getting into a good college. I'm excited to just experience the next step of my education, and just experience campus life. I am also afraid i won't be able to balance basketball and college work. I got another fear of not having any money because i wont always be able depend mommy or just spend just because. I think i have more fear than excitement because the feeling of going to college is nerve racking.

My week 11 picks was on point 10 of them were correct and only a few weren't, sometimes i have luck and sometimes i don't. I don't really care have the time i forget to pick my teams so i don't even be tripping. I knew the ravens were going to win, i never doubt my favorite team. I'm a die heart ravens so they always lead my pick for the week. I usually base my picks off records and who they have and who they will be facing that day, like i said i can care less  about who win that day as long as the ravens do. I just make picks just do to do it, i'm not winning anything or any contest but it just something to do. If two team have the same  record, then i will flip a coin and choose a team for my pick that week. At first my picks wasn't looking to hot but every team i picked prevailed accept three. I had jaguars winning, they lost to clevaland by four. The lions came and beat the panthers, was kind of happy. Of coarse the packers undefeated record so far, i don't like them because they think they are the best. The bills had an embrassing lost to the Miami dolphins, which i had the bills but no in my book they got destroyed. Raiders had a good game to get the win add on to my picks. I thought the cowboys were going to lose, this being one of teams i flipped a coin on and in just so happened to be the cowboys. Seahawks had nice victory. Of coarse when your 9-1 who going to you 49ers getting the win. Falcons also getting the win to increase my picks for the week.  Bears had a great game kept you on your seat and they won, it always good to see Devin haster run back a few punt returns. The giants lost to the eagles, disappointing. then patriots destroyed the chiefs bringing my week 11 picks to a close.

Haircut finally! I needed a haircut for like weeks and finally got it because i was long over due because i kept missing my appointments or i had something to do. I was two weeks past my time for a haircut. I would always either forget and it would be to late to go or I would be busy doing something else. Yes i really needed on i was starting to look scruffy and i didn't like it. I like getting my haircut because it makes me feel refreshed and new. Nothing but  smooth face and clean. My mom says i need to learn to shave in between haircuts, so i don't look so rough but i already do, I'm just lazy and wont cut it off. I will start because in college i wont always be able to run to the barber shop because i wont have money like that. So I'm going to start perfecting my shaving skills so i can be perfect and not have any trouble in college. Never will i miss my barber appointments again but if i do i will shave the excess down. I always go to the same barber because he know how to make line bread up correctly.

I don't know the sky has been so interesting to me lately, i guess it just the way sky looks as the sung going down, it just illuminates the sky with vibrant colors. Also me and my friend were outside talking and he happened to notice that something was threw the sky really bright. I tried to tell him it was just airplanes but no we both think we are right but i know i was, because planes do that thing where i guess jet flue turns white in the sky and it looks like a trail coming from the plane. At the planes where heading towards the setting dun which made the jet fuel turn orange. We out hear debating and it getting  cold and dark, so i just quit.  He was convinced it was a meteor or something attacking the earth. Shaking my head. It is nice sunset as the sun disappears behind the house. This reminds me of the end scenes in a movie were the fading and the people look out in the sunset and they live happily ever after or in the beginning of movies when it starts off in nice town but then destruction starts to happen or scary things. I usually don't even pay attention to the sky but it just been beautiful every time i look at lately. So I decided to take picture to zoom in on the airplanes just to make sure. Also if you did looked really close at the picture i took it does look like meteor but that because you can't see the airplane. I can see where he getting the meteor or flying object from, so i wasn't look at him like he was totally stupid. You always have to make sure just in case. I wouldn't think it was meteor because it was going to slow, if it was at that range i think it would be more pointed down towards the earth, moving a lot faster. I think if it was that close i think i would be seeing air force jets flying over to destroy it.

My binder is a mess i'm going to clean it out this weekend and my room to. You can't have a junky room and binder that ho you become disorganized and start losing things that become more important. Also my room is must because i get in trouble for not cleaning my room. I probably wont be doing anything this weekend because ill be busy doing chores. My mom gets angry when my room gets dirty. Also i don't like my room dirty, it makes me feel clutter because dishes be in there and clothes everywhere, so i like to be organized and also to have a productive working environment for doing my homework. You can't be productive in a sloppy working environment. Then you can't keep every paper forever because it starts getting in the way of other important papers. I like to stay organized because it helps me to keep order with my work. I don't like having myriads of papers just sitting in my binder that will possibly not be used ever again.If i know a paper is really important i will keep it. If not ill keep in the bin for later use.

This is one the hardest classes I've ever had in my high school career. It has so many terms and things you have to know. In the first couple weeks of school i was ready to drop it because the teacher was so boring and the coarse load was over whelming. I wasn't use to an AP class yet. I couldn't drop it because the program I'm in  called AVID that helps you get into college, you had to have to AP classes to stay in. I could've got it changed instead thinking about dropping it but i decided to prevail on through. Also i decided if i was failing at the end of first quarter i  would drop it because i can't have class hurting my GPA. This class was so time consuming and i had to balance out my time better so i could complete my other home works to. This story goes from bad to worst now because the teacher is ok but he so boring he wouldn't keep you involved. So in the middle of the quarter he gets an illness or something and we have a new teacher that carrying us along and trying to keep us on task so we don't fall behind in the school year but he hasn't studied it since college. So the principle finds another teacher that is more suited to keep us on track with year and this guy is cool but he is also boring. I never had over 60 something vocab words for one night. Also the things you have to know for the AP exam is a lot but i think i can fight threw it, just a lot to remember. the teacher says it like an college coarse and he going to treated like one, so i mise will get use to it now because I'll be there next year!

Today was a great day because it was the first day of basketball tryouts. It was a lot of people trying out but i felt confident to try. I gave it my all and i did ok but i could do better. So i have two days to prove to that i have what it takes to be on New town basketball. Of course there always favorites but i didn't care. At the end of the first day i was tired i just wanted go home and go to sleep. I haven't ran in a min so i had to get re adjusted to running again. Also i need to water so i can run forever. Also there a lot of competition this year and it not going to be easy making the team. I'm going to go hard as i can in the next couple of days of tryouts to try and  if not  I don't what will happen. I might want to quit forever, or just keep playing. I'll get the education first and worry about basketball later.

This looks like something straight out of an art gallery! I'm not used to this time change yet where it gets dark and at 6 o clock. When it gets dark now and i look at the clock, i just shake my head. It like my body wants to shutdown because when it gets dark, there nothing to do. Then i still have a lot of homework to do but it just feel like bed time because it all dark outside. Also when it turns dark, after 6 it might be light out and i feel like things can still be accomplished but when dark at five, all you want to do is sleep. Also this picture looks like it belongs right in a art gallery. The sun was just going down,  making for a perfect setting sun day. I mean if you take the trees and background stuff out and just have the sky. You will have a perfect sky for a picture. Now I'm not an artist but i know art when i see it because my cousin loved art and her thing were extravagant. Also my mom loves arts and things, some of the things she has created look just this skyline. It reminds me of one of those angel in the cloud pictures with harp or something because the color blue and mix of  light red that you can barely see and the sun just makes it really bright because it slowly turning dark. You can still see the sun illuminating the sky. I usually don't pay attention to art but this caught my eye and barely did because i was looking at my uncle truck saw this brightness and i came over to the side of the house and saw this sun and cloud mix. I thought it was amazing because this is only the second time I've seen something like this.

You know you live in the county when you wake up and go downstairs and open the door and all you see is a deer and it doesn't move it just stares until you actually step out on the porch, then pertains to walk away. This is the wild i have seen everything in my yard snakes,deer,foxes,chipmunks. All kinds of animals in my yard all the time and couple of times a few creatures got in the house. Before last school year let out there where Four  black snakes in the back yard that me and my uncle had to kill.One time a snake had gotten into the house and we had to kill. Also our chimney was uncovered and squirrel climbs down and and causes destruction in the house thus we had to call my uncle to come get it out because i was to young to get it. Also we see chipmunks running around outside all the time. One time we had like the cabbage plant you buy from the home depot and every morning you look at it bits and pieces where missing out it, deer come walking threw the front yard ate all the cabbage plants. Deer always come up in the yard eating things or always in the back yard napping or something. I guess nuts haven't been sufficient enough for the squirrels because now they tear the trash bag open in the garbage can. I have even seen it with my own eyes, ill be coming up the drive way from school and they will hear and go flying out of the trashcan real quick. Now there a fox running around my neighborhood and the other night me and my mom roll up on it and we scare it a little bit, but he goes and sits on this stump in the back of our yard and proceeds to have a stare off  with me and my mom. So my mom scared to get out, so she waits for him to run away before she gets out the car. These animals are really bold they will just stare at you until you stop staring at them.

The big Black college expo at the university of Maryland college park. So we wake up early  to go to the college expo. The guidance office put together a bus and took a bunch of us down to the expo as like a field except it was on a Saturday. So everybody meets at the school early 7:45ish to be on the bus. Not knowing that there was going to be a big lacrosse tournament that was going to have the parking lot filled. Beside that we make it down there in great time because we get there early before it gets to crowded. There are a lot of colleges at this expo and couple where doing fee waived and acceptance on the spot. If you had your transcript and sat scores you could be accepted right there on the spot.  I got into a couple of schools University of Maryland eastern shore, and Lincoln university. They had food and things and performances and seminars. We left before the performances and everything though because the teacher have lives to and can't stay all day with us, so we left at about 12:00 and by that time, it was so packed i mean every college had a line going to it. From the first time we got there it was no problem getting up talking to the college people but by the time around noon it was packed. The performances started around 3. All around it was a great trip and i want to thank the guidance office for thinking of the seniors because they didn't have to do that. They could have told you about it and made you find your own way down there, they didn't have to get a bus. We still had to pay but it was nice to get a bus!

OMG! this date is exciting. I mean if i was old enough i would play the lottery. Also it's veterans day, support the troops. I don't know why we have school on day when we can be spending time with some veterans. Also we are having SAT Olympics in class today, where you go around he class answering questions from The ACT/ SAT and your being recorded. This day awesome because everything went great that day because it felt like the day just flew bye, also it was Friday with clear skies a little chilly outside but it was cool. I missed my moment of silence at 11:11AM but i had a moment of silence 11:11PM that night. SAT Olympics was fun it great to experience some SAT/ACT questions thrown at you rapidly and respond to the question. Also it gives you a chance to experience question under pressure.It was OK if you got one wrong you just to say what the correct answer and why you got the problem wrong. Also tell a technique that AVID college prep program taught you to get correct answer on these type of test.

Hmmmmm! my 5 five start meal for the night. I cook on occasion when my mom ask but i felt since nobody had not been home for several hours i mise well go ahead and cook dinner. Usually my mom will call me a couple hours a head to let me know to cook dinner and i will, make nice meal with a vegetable,meat, and potato or bread or something to go with it, depending on the meal. This night i just feel like cooking and i went down in the fridge and found something easy to make real quick. They don't call me Master chef Tommy, for nothing. Spaghetti is really easy to make just cook the ground beef and add the ragu sauce and cook some noodles. Then pour the noodles and ragu sauce in there let it cook some more then some more cooking on the stove for a little bit, then it done. Also i made salad as vegetable for the night because i didn't feel like cooking anything else. I still had to let the garlic bread bake, i didn't even know how to make but i made do. My mom always tell me my meals taste great, it nothing than m mom appreciation for m work. Also i ended up alone tonight because nobody was there to enjoy it with me because nobody got home until 30mins later. I was hungry so ate and wash finished by the time everybody else was home. I feel like I'm already independent in this house because most of the time i have to make my own food unless my mom comes home and cooks. It ok though because it gives me a sense of college because there isn't going to be anybody there to cook for me unless i eat fast food every night, which wont be happening because money ain't abundant. That means i will be eating that campus food, which isn't bad at all because the colleges that i visited and ate food on campus was delicious. I am not picky at all when come to food, if I'm hungry enough ill eat it!

We got another(parallel enrollment  program) talk where you go and take college level coarse so you can already have college credit. This will help your tuition not be as high as when you actually get to college because will already have taken English 101 or math 101 coarse already while in high school. The  guidance counselor and a teacher from New Town explained the program and how you register for classes after you take the ACCU placer which tells you where you are and what classes you need to take. Also they talked about how they were taken a trip to the campus again, so if people who wanted to take the test could. Also they talked about how enrollment is about to start for spring classes and if you wanted to you could and take the test and sign up for classes immediately while you were on the trip taken the ACCU placer. I took the ACCU placer last year when i was a junior, if i could do it I'm ready for English 101 but college algebra i would have to do a builder because i fell just shy of passing, but that because i wasn't in college algebra yet. Now I'm in college Algebra  and think i would do a lot better because i would understand the test better now. Also if i went back and took the accu placer again i would be right on track to start college math 101 credit because I actually would know the material. I would knock my core college credits i just don't have a ride to get the classes.I t would save a lot of money to knock out 101's and main classes.  This definitely helps you because save money and can use it for something else. For instance if you take English 101 and you don't have to take it when you get there thousand dollars you don't have to put towards that credit or class. Also it going to cost you money to pay for class but it still worth taking in high school so you don't have to do it when your in college.

I apply for a prize to win xbox live rewards and every cap wis, i'm trying to get as many prize as i can get. dr. pepper is not that great so i don't know how much i will buy. Also soda bad for you so i won't be drinking to much of it. Also birthday and Christmas right around corner and I'll get plenty of giveaways then. Also in these caps they are excellent chance to just participate in a contest because most of the time when  car is being given away you have to be at least of age 18 but it cool one of these tops, I'm going to win something.

http://youtu.be/wivUKe1s96s We watched Eric Thomas the hip hop preacher who a motivational message every Monday morning at 6 because he got tired people saying thank go it Friday  and they all happy because they can go out have fun it's the weekend. The  Monday come around and they saying they hate Monday or mad they got to go to work that morning. He said get happy on Monday's and get you ready for a Monday threw his messages. Also he does special editions during the week sometimes. Like TGIT TGIW, thank god it Tues or wed. In this message he said see your job differently and that applied to me because that everyday for school but really special I'm in this program called AVID advance via individual determination which helps you get to college  and i had to apply just like for a job and people want my spot and you have to fight for your spot. Also he said throw away the toy-r-us card, stop being a baby and expecting and start giving to earn. If you don't like your job ok doesn't mean you have to complain about it. just deal with it, it your paycheck.  I don't hardly complain about anything except text but that because i forgot to study the night before or forgot to do something but i don't complain it life, it full of up's and down's not everybody perfect. Then  the final thing he said was be the change, you have to get. If you don't like your give him your best anyway just because. He also said stop expecting things if you not giving them. This apply to me because i don't give my best on test because i didn't study or something. I can expect a bad grade on a report card on interim if a test was given a couple days before these grades came out because i didn't give my best. "You have to be  the  change to see the change". I already study hard to make sure i'm above average and doing better.

I'm going to use E.T. message about stop expecting to do good if your not doing good. I know i can do better if apply myself  more. It not just this class it one other to so but i'm honor roll bound and college bound so i'm not going to let this hold me back. C's will turn into B's, B's will become A's with coach a little coach class and few other things that get me over the hump i'm going above and beyond to make sure i'm not even close to c anymore. I think i chose this class because the teacher is strict and takes off points for everything. I guess it helping because i never forget to put a date on any paper now since i had this class this year. Also it not a baby course it explained and your set free expecting to know what on the paper and what needs to be done. In this class the task at hand is not to play or talk, it to learn. I know what it takes to past this class and i will.

This Probably the biggest rivarly in the NFL! When these teams play each other you see some of the best offense and defense come from these teams when they play. You might not see it in any other game except this one. Especially the ravens because they have been inconsistent in some games but they will always be my favorite team in the NFL. This is always a great match up which is why it's on the schedule multiple times during the season. In the previous years the steelers have always won but this year it's different and the ravens are winning and showing who going to super bowl this year. If the ravens stop loosing  easy games and prevail as they should, then they would to nice to beat. But we loose easy games, that we shouldn't have a problem with. The Ravens are going to make it to the super bowl this year because they have proven that a team has beaten them in previous years is not the same team anymore and we can beat them come playoff time. We have already beat them twice and showed them that there not the best anymore. In the first time the ravens played them this year they demolished the steelers 37-6 and made them turn the ball over 7 times. They did everything perfectly offense, defense they came out in force in a season opener. Then the next time they met, it was a battle because had lost to some easy teams that they should have beaten, so the game was different now because the steelers could take first place, the ravens drop to second or third. Also it was a closer battle this time, only scoring that was being done at first was nothing but field goals. Then finally before half the ravens make another field goal to make it 9-6 at half time. Then in the third finally get touch down by ray rice making 16-6. Then the steelers score again late in the third,  making it 16-12 ravens. Then Joe flaco night turns bad and he sacked and fumbles the football, thus leading the steelers to score again giving them the lead 19-16. Then ravens redemption they go right up the field passing and getting completion, even completing on fourth down. Then you get all the way up the field and the receivers can't catch the ball and you think it all over for the ravens and they get a game winning touch down 23-20 ravens getting the job done again in a crucial comeback.

Homecoming time, It almost kickoff, when a little pregame celebration is done for the seniors on the team. where the players walk threw with there parents.  It was great day, great game, where prevailed with another victory and heading off to playoff's. That game was so packed and live that it was non-stop cheering and excitement. This was a great game from start to finish, it had plenty of great plays, drives, defense and all out football. The  game got started at two and wasn't finished until about five. This game got started right away with New Town scoring right away with some great offense. Then school we were playing owing mills runs a kick return back for a touch down and the crowd was in awe when that happened.  I was a little worried because we ain't get a warmed up on a great scoring drive until second quarter but every body else wasn't because before i know it new town was scoring without a problem. This game had plenty of up's and down's from injuries and big plays, to touchdowns, to plenty flags, and great defenses. At half it was like 18-6 i knew there wasn't anyway they where coming back. So i just was there chilling with my friends and enjoying the game. It was a ton of excitement and cheers every time a big play happened, a sack or defensive stop. In the next couple quarters new town went on to score a couple more touchdowns and run the score up, giving the opposing team no chance of a comeback. It was great game i saw people i haven't seen since middle school and a whole lot of my other friends. The score was 36-6 with new town having an excellent game and winning homecoming. Also the dance later that was even more of a great time!.

Oh yeah! It the day of the pep rally and you can feel the excitement in the air early that morning.  People have made signs, shirts, and other things representing the school. These signs are really funny, from my mans Jordan, Wes.We have a whole different school that not even ours and a sign that just explains it all for really though for anything that deserves that comment. The day couldn't have went by any faster, before you know it was time for the pep rally. All teachers had planned a light course work day. The only thing that got me was that my AP psychology really made an assignment about the pep rally on perceptions, the only teacher that has ever done that in my four years of high school. I should've held that sign up in class, but it wasn't that hard just watch and observe and write and explain gestalt principles you saw. The pep rally was to live and exciting! There where great performance and excellent ways to keep you involved. The mascot ran around multiple times keeping the crowd cheering and involved. The seniors had the loudest class in there!!!! Also the band performed a couple of good songs and even played a hip hop song called all of the lights. The dancers had great routines and performances. Of course the cheerleaders had amazing performance. In the pep rally they had a activity drill between all the classes where certain people from each class had obstacle course to complete which the seniors prevailed again in another victorious victory against the juniors. Man are the juniors just got it bad loose in the obstacle course and in the powder puff game, there poor little hearts are crushed. The feud continued where juniors and seniors where yelling out there class in the pep rally. The were given recognition for there season. The pep rally was to much fun and it wasn't over yet because our varsity football team had homecoming game that Saturday and a dance that night finally bringing spirit week to a close.

Oh yeah!!! I was ready for the annual Junior Vs. Senior powder puff game where girls play flag football! It was a ton of excitement all week because it was spirit week and the pep rally was the next day. This fued has started up between the juniors and seniors, like a big Rivalry. The juniors started messing with the seniors signs and the juniors wanted to take it to far. It got real heated, like the juniors did all this preparing and secret meetings to still loose! The seniors went in and did there thing and got the win. Then every year it turns into a little tackle football and so of the juniors got smacked around a little and the was mad, so there coordinator of there class wants a rematch because she says the seniors cheated because it flag and not tackle and whole bunch of other nonsense. How you going to say the seniors cheated when all your players belts were doubled tied and when the senior players went to grab it, it didn't come off. So you cheat a little and you get what you deserved, so the seniors did not cheat. Also I supporting the class of 2012!! On my hands, arm, and face. I had the senior pride stickers on and 2012 written all over me and they got the job done and i routed them on the whole time and did not feel bad for a single junior on the field. I Mean you get what you deserved, you started a war and the seniors finished it by proving you can do all this stuff but you can't back it up on the football field!! This was a  great because it was a light course load and then a great day to finish it and enjoyment of a nice football game. Also the class of 2012 is the best class out there and dominates. It was a good game though because both juniors and seniors scored, it wasn't boring , very interesting to watch. The first play of the game my home girl Erika runs the ball over 80yards to score the first points of the game, she was like a bullet got pass everybody! The seniors couldn't get the two points but it ok. The defensive is up and the juniors think there big and come with a big run play just like us, (jockers). I'm thinking where was our defense and complete the two point conversion. Then later in the third the seniors score again to take the lead and it stayed that way for the rest of the game, it was good game. There were a lot of great  plays from both teams. In the end you know who came out on top! Seniors and the juniors were mad but who cares, it just a game. Final score seniors:12 juniors 8.

Thomas Brown AVID 365 Day 62 11-1-11

Twin day picture coming later. Twin was awesome even though i didn't even see my so called twin until the end of the day. It was just an excellent day, actually that whole week was amazing. Me and my twin planned it out everything and we didn't even see each other because i don't know but  i still glad i found her. Also the spirit was ok because it didn't have sports day and  it was little rushed because it wasn't the entire week. One day was out because we didn't have school. I wanted spirit week to be good this year because i am  a senior and it was my last one before i graduate and the spirit week in college will be totally different than in high school. Also i was used to the spirit week in high school because i did it four years in row and it did a little old. It was good to experience my last one, before a whole new one comes abroad. I know college homecoming won't be anything like high school, of course there will be the annual homecoming game and homecoming party but there might be certain tradition that a college does or whole bunch of festivities that they do. Also in college it not just one party in multiple. It great to feel on top as a senior but kind of sad being knocked back down to the bottom to a freshman in college, starting the process over again. Of not knowing where anything is or being lost trying to find your first class, asking teacher for directions. I remember when i had just come to high school, it went by so fast. I was nervous because i didn't know who i was going to see or who was going to be there that i knew. I knew where i was going because i wen to the freshman orientation and found out where all my classes where. When i stepped into high school i was one of the first people there because my bus came so early. My high school career has gone by so quickly and now I'm a senior, looking for good college to go and continue my education. Also i hope in college they give you an orientation or some type of guidance like a couple  of weeks before i started high school and gave me general look at what high school was going to be like. I hope i get something that or something like it. I will playing college basketball and i know athletes report back to the dorms two weeks before the rest of the student population. So i will find my way around.
